Desdemona is a strong horse. Her build and attitude reflects her character. This horse has a strong mind. Therefore she doesn't show much emotions. Her heart is cold, but honest. Family is a relative concept, she protects her family with her live. Most of the time she is neutral, Dess is not so social like others. She likes being alone. It irritates her also that she isn't that skinny horse that the stallions like. She can therefore be a little cold around other mares.

Desdemona was born happy as the foal of Overan and Kit. Her father was in rank 1 when he was kicked out, but her mother Overan was more popular. It is not clear why she was kicked out, but the two lived as loners. Kit died shortly afther her birth. His death is a mysterie. The foal was raised up by her mother and they lived happy. Not long ago they were attacked. Desdemona was meanwhile already three years old. Her mother was older and weaker. It was blue moon and dark horses killed her mom. Dess fled, thinking about her mothers last words: "Find a herd, be save."
