If you're still open to anything with Sabel, I was going to say that for character development, you could just have him and Sabel fall for each other. I'd be totally fine with that, and he'd have to open up to her about his past and learn more about himself by falling for her.
I was just thinking about it last night and realized that if you're going for character development, that would really be something if he fell for her. Plus, you have been mentioning you're sad that he's gonna be alone, so this could fix that.
And then there's no need to ruin anything with Del, and she and Vestain could still have something going on without E'vesdar ruining his brotherly role with her or failing to stand resolute and not give in to her.


...just a thought. It seems like the most simple solution with the least likely way of making E'vesdar really regret something. Unless you want him to regret something.

I like the idea, but from E'vesdars point of view a mare like her doesn't deserve it to be with him, he'll never love her, he'll simply take care of her in the most practical way. So I don't know, he's had this kind of 'practical' relationship before, and when his only son drowned he went crazy and almost killed his partner. Also he's still in love with Morrow, and also has that soulmate like thing with Flight. So I don't know.... I want something where he does something way to extreme to do something right, and some will hate him for it, and some will see that he did it for justice.

or we can just do that thing where Sabel cheates on Adelheid by having an short affair with E'vesdar. Or maybe the other way around, Sabel cheats on E'vesdar with Adelheid, because the relationship with E'vesdar is cold and quit and no love is involved. Because he is always away for duty and his heart still belongs to Morrow (although he will never admit it)

Delaney is a friend of him, but she does not know anything about him, he's more the caring one for her. Beside that he does't really have friends. His best friend Lerav has gone away..

Sabel will be his friend, definitely, once she gets over her disappointment. And Adel comes and they fix each other. Then Sabel will be fine with just being friends. :]

I'll register Adelheid today or in the first couple of days.
