| Gentle, as if she would hurt the flowers with her hooves, she moves her slender brown body through the forest. Her foggy white eyes gaze into the darkness, not really seeing anything at all. She lost her sight when she just turned two and she lived like this ever since. It's never really been a problem for her, it just made her sad she couldn't see all the lovely sunsets anymore. The memories of all the colors and surroundings have been slowly fading from her memory over time and after all these years it became impossible to remember anything. She couldn't see the white snow slowly melting, but she could feel the wet dirt sticking to her coat. It wasn't a very pleasant feel and she saw herself already walking around with a dirty and sticky coat. Not that she cared she thought, not that anyone cared actually.
She's been here for several months now and still she wasn't able to communicate well, she didn't like the stuck-up horses here, and she didn't wanted to get to know them. The only horses she had spoke with were Avanti, and he had terrified her almost to death, and Torak, the slightly insane stallion who actually seemed to charm her, she absolutely didn't like that feeling.
Even since Aurelius had passed away she had a hard time finding herself back, and the fact a different stallion had kissed her on the lips was something she couldn't process very well. She nearly hated Torak for it, but he had that charming smile that could melt or irritate her so badly she wanted to kiss or either kill him. They always told her hate and love were close to each other and now she finally understood, and she hated him for that. She hated him so much. While cursing on him a sigh leaves her lips, she moves her legs some faster and goes in a trot. Her long silky mane and tail take a flight on the wind and her foggy white eyes are no longer hidden under the curly black hairs.
Maybe it was time she met some new horses, maybe it was time to show the world she could actually be social. Just when that thought enters her mind she hears a noise and slowly stops her body. With her right ear she follows the noise, when a smell catches her attention. The smell of a stallion, a stallion she hasn't seen, or better said smelled, ever before. She opens her mouth and a melodious whiny (?) breaks the silence of the forest, she moves her body with the elegance and flexibility of a cat while searching for the stallion.

| preparing to unleash, unleash a mighty cry rank one Aelordar always had preferred to be alone. To be by himself and try to sort his thoughts out. Thoughts which shouldn't be in his mind anymore. But there it was...again and again. The expression of his beloved mother in the moment she got killed. Anger showed up on his face and he pressed his head against a tree. Calm down. Calm down. But nothing happend and the picture remainded in his mind. The 7 year old stallion sighted and raised his head. He loved to be the loner, because he know that nobody would ever understand him and nobody would ever follow him. He would always be the fifth wheel, but whatever...he was sure to stay with the herd. They need his protection and he needs the protection of the herd. But what should he do? Yes. Nothing. The Okapi-Painted moved forwards and enjoyed the cool breeze which stroke trough the forest. Sometimes he believed that the wind was talking to him. Like...his mother was talking to him, but this couldn't be true. His mother was dead and her soul was banned from this great lands. But stallions never cry. They don't even talk about their problems and thats why he always had this cold expression on his face and nobody could ever trust him. Good for him. He hates smalltalks with horses who don't understand him...who don't feel the same way than he does, but whatever... Gently breathing he lowered his head to the ground and his lips touched the ice cold leafs. How would they taste? Like the never lasting winter? Like the kisses of spring? Softly his lips picked up a few leafs and he started to chew, but...his ears set up as he recognized what he was eating there. The leafs tasted like death. They tasted like his past and all what his mind could tell him was- spit it out! Now! His hooves stroke over the ground and the stallion turned his back to the tree where he had found this unedible food. But wait a second...all those feafs...they were everywhere. Sure. He was in the middle of the forest, but never in his life before he had made such an experience. The experience to taste his own past. Why? Why is his past following him? Couldn't it leave him alone? His heart was beating faster and he knew that he was freaking out. If somebody would find him here...with this expression they would think that he had lost his mind. Serious? His ears listened to the voice of the forest. And the forest told him that somebody was here. There were some hooves which were touching the ground. Which were cracking leafs and Aelordar was about to forget his fear and follow this voice. Was this a member of his herd, or could this be...? No! Never! And there she was. Covered and protected in the arms of the forest he saw this mare without any expressions in her eyes. She seemed careful and the stallion didn't need a lot of time to see that she was blind. That she couldn't see him or look in his eyes and read his thoughts. ''Careful...'', he whispered gently fearing that she will hurt herself. She could panic, because she don't see him. She could just...pick up his smell and his voice, or not? Perhaps he could be danger for her...and she did not know. But she was save here. He wouldn't hurt her...but did she know that? ~dadaaa. i'm done. pheww....english posts are hard to write. i know that this is no proper english, but i hope you understand it. | |

| She couldn't see the look on his face, she couldn't tell if he looked scared or desperate. But she could feel the pressure, she could feel how his heartbeat was racing and his movements were sudden. She felt that something was wrong, she knew he was having some sort of a breakdown, and yet she kept it to herself. She wasn't the one to breach his privacy, and since she was blind she could just play along, he'd never know. She feels how his gaze follows her every hoofstep she makes, she raises her head and her long wavy black mane falls down, gently frames her face with soft bouncy curls. She looks at him from under her soft long lashes and desperately tries to distinguish him from the background, no luck though. The only thing that she sees is soft light bouncing around in front of her eyes, no stallion at all. At least she could feel his presence, hear his breathing and smell the deep scent of his coat.
Easily and without any doubt she dances from the shadows towards the stallion, her pace quick and elegant with the flexibility of a cat. 'Careful...' his voice breaks the silence and a small genuine smile graces her lips for a second. Just in front of his body, just a fraction away from his face she stops her body and looks up to him. She could feel the heat from his body and could easily touch him, she wanted to touch him. She wanted to feel the warmt of a stallion, the warmt of a stallion that would care for her. The warmt of Aurelius. She raises her head and looks up to him from under her soft lashes. 'I may be blind, but I'm not stupid' She whispers gently, her voice a melody of the wind.
The last thing she would worry about is danger, he promised her she would be safe as long as she did what she was asked to. But she wasn't doing anything at all, she wasn't obeying his orders, they could easily make an end to her life. But she couldn't help it, she wasn't the one to manipulate a leader into telling secrets, she couldn't turn her back to her own kind and make the shades more powerful. The memory of Avanti telling her her sister would die if she didn't win any information provides a shudder. She loved her sister, she would never give her up, she would be able to die for her if it was necessary. Nachtschade would never let Avanti touch any of her loved ones, she would rip him apart with her own teeth. Still the thought of the shade leader provides a shudder once again. God she hated that stallion, just like she hated Torak. She hated all the stallions with their stupid charming words and cold and harsh words, as if they didn't feel anything.
A sigh leaves her lips and she turns away her head, her soft mane falls over her face and hides her foggy white eyes. She stept besides him and let her nose slowly caress his skin, she feels his warmt and thinks about the last time she felt the warmt of Aurelius. She missed him, like she always would. She raises her head in his direction, well she guessed that was where he was standing. 'Sorry, it's just to get an impression where you are' she smiles gently and takes her distance, is easily welcomed by the shadows of the forest.

| put nice lyrics over here rank one ''I'm not saying that I think that you are...'', he tried to reply, but her reaction extraced him from his thoughts and he wasn't able to find the fitting words. What should he say? He wasn't that guy whose strengh it was to find the perfect words for a situation. The stallion breathed softly and waited for any new reactions. Yes. This mare seems to know what she wanted and what she was doing. But in his eyes she looked so helpless. Not because of her reactions, of her way to move...no. It was just the fact that she seemed to be blind and he couldn't imagine how it would be to live in a world without colours and faces. But wait? So she couldn't even see how he looked like. She couldn't say anything about his weird stripes....nothing... Her nostrills softly touched him and his heart tried to find another rythm, but there wasn't any. What was she doing? But including the fact, that the mare wasn't able to see anything he trusted in her and her reactions. Why should she touch a stranger? Of course. This was her way to see the dark world which was formed out of shadows. ''I understand. It's fine...''The stallion tried to stand still, but there was a question which was whispering in his mind. Over and over again. ''Can I ask you something?'', he whispered gently. His muscels seemed to tensed and he turned his head in her direction while his mane was stroking hers. He waited for a response, because he always was a quiet, but gentle guy. If she wasn't here to talk...she would say no and could leave. Leave without having his question in her mind. | |

| He didn’t react at all when she touched him, maybe he didn’t mind, or maybe he just didn’t feel the need to give her attention. But he had caught her attention and now she wanted his as well. His gentle voice speaks to her and was a pleasure to her, it reminded her of Aurelius. Aurelius had always been a big black stallion with the most sweet and gentle personality she’d ever known. She had loved him for that. But ever since Aurelius had passed away and she had to find her own way she felt irritated when others saw her as weak or helpless. Her blindness had never limited her in anything and she was more than able to care for herself. And of course there was Torak who unabashedly looked at her as If she was a piece of meat, and the worst part was that she didn’t mind it that much. At least he made her feel as if she was no difference than any other of her age, with an exception for her white foggy eyes of course.
Although he didn’t react when she touched him, he did when she spoke. She had apologized and he simply said that it was fine, she felt the tendency to shrug and roll with her eyes. But she decided to just ignore it and let her eyes drift away with the dancing light in front of her gaze. She couldn’t see very much but extreme light was an exception to that.
Her long black hair caresses her skin and made her feel safe, comforted by the dark strings of hair that could easily let her disappear. She liked the shadows, how haunting and scary it could be, she loved the way it welcomed her and how she could merge with the darkness. She didn’t like it to be in the centre of attention, and certainly not with the horses of the herd. She had seen how fast rumors travelled here, she felt safer with not talking at all. Maybe it would’ve been better if she just left and let Aelordar alone. But she simply couldn’t, maybe it was the hunger for some social contact that made her stay.
A sigh leaves her lips when she raises her head, the dark hairs of her mane fall down her face and curl into each other, covering her slender brown body. His soft voice caresses her ears and her gaze tries to find him, but she fails. He wanted to ask her something. A slightly interested smile graces her lips and she nods. ‘Sure, ask away’

| put nice lyrics over here rank one Without making a noice he watched her movements. Aelordar tried to notice how the behaviour of the mare was breathing and how she was finding herself in this big dark world. The stallion always had the problem that he wanted to react...wanted to help a lonely soul which was holding a mirror in which he could see his own problems. Softly, he turned his head so his green eyes, which were reminding of a snake, could analize the mare and her beings. He had never seen her before and he was scared that she could be lost, but no..this wasn't the situation. His question was waitng on his tongue but there was no way that he could ask her that. Nevermind., he told himself while the mare was hiding under her long beautiful mane. Yes. It was black like one of the darkest nights he had ever seen. Just now he realized that his eyes were focused on hers and not at her body. She was painted with a dark brown..oh no..it was gray...or..a mixture of it but Aelordar could not explain. And yes..there were white stripes, which almost looked like his own, but not in the real realtiy, because sometimes he wished that he wouldn't be for him self anymore. This mare seemed to had some problems too..he could read this in her death but sparkly eyes. He really needed a friend and so he wasn't able to ask the question. The stallion always had the talent to say things which he did not mean like they sound. ''I was wondering were you come from. I've never seen you before and your eyes are telling me that you couldn't walk that far. Or is it easy for you to stroke with your legs trough a foreign place? And no...I'm not underestimating you...it's just that I've never met a blind horse before.'' No. Aelordar don't know any strangers, because there was no horse in this world which could been a stranger to him. There were only two categories: the visibles and the ghosts. And the mare really represented the second categorie. Her eyes were like a veil in which you could loose yourself. Emotionless, but beautiful und deep...like the voice of an ocean. ''May I ask you what your name is?'', he sneaked with a little smalltalk and with the wish to find out her name and something about herself. | |

| * from my phone, so forgive my mistakes!
She wasn't a helpless creature at all, the last three years she had wandered around forsaken and alone. Although the lonelyness sometimes played with her feeling, she was more than able to care for herself. She actually came from far far away and made her way through the never ending desert surrounding the land all by herself. There was no need for this stallion to worry about her, she stood her ground. When his charming and deep voice pleasures her hearing she smiles at him, amused and dark. As if she was the most mystrious thing on earth. She flicks her head, her long satinlike mane swaying from her face. Her plain white eyes stare at him in utterly silent for a moment, her face innocent as an angel. She blinks, her long dark lashes caress her skin as light as the wings of a butterfly.
"I can surely tell the same my dear companion. None with your markings has ever crossed my path" her eyes stare at him, a teasing grin around her lips. After some seconds have passed she laughs, a sound like tingling glass. "I'm sorry, I am just teasing you, I really have no idea what you look like, although your relieve was very easy to feel and I couldn't get passed the feeling that I am dealing with a heavily mutated horse or someone who simply stands out in the crowd with his appearence" She smiles at him, innocent and sweet as an angel. "I come from far actually" she decides to answer normally this time, although her eyes still glimmer with a naughty shine. "I love to travel, to dicover and learn new things. Maybe some would call me a fool by being so bold and adventirous but it were those moments that made me feel alive. I am not weak, although I lack sight I still have much to give and even discover. I am too young to stop living because my eyes dont work" Her voice is sharp, filled with youth and passion for life. When he askes her name a painful look takes over her eyes, sorrow gleams in those big white eyes. "My father called me Nachtschade, after the deadly flower" a sigh leaves her lips "It's because I killed my mother the day I was born, I was deadly to him. I took away all that he loved" |

| put nice lyrics over here rank one (with your phone? i could never do that. and i do more mistakes while writing from my computer.) Aelordar really believed her even she looked so helpless like a foal, but the way she was talking...the way she was moving. Well yes...this was showing him how brave she was and that she surely knows how to survive in this deep world without having the eyes to see. He lowered his neck slowely so the mare could recongnized all of his respect. Really? Aelordar would freak out if something would happend and he would loose the light out of his eyes. There was nothing he had. No one he trusted..no family...nothing. So what would he do then when the world was soaked into deep darkness and he couldn't see the beauty anymore which was captured in flowers and all the other beloved things which mother nature had created. They don't talk. They just allow him to stare at them the whole day without saying something. This was his meaning of his life and so he was living it. But there it was...again...her voice, but what she was telling him was helping his neck up and let him stare at here with an frightened expression. ''You can tell...?'', his voice trembeld and everybody who was listening to him could say that he was rarely surprised. But..but she was blind. Wasn't she? His deep green eyes tried to analize the white ones. But they looked so...blind. And she was acting blind. Was that mare playing a game? Beware. Not with Aelordar. But he was right. She could not and the stallion was really relieved. ''You weren't that wrong. I'm not like the other horses here...i'm different. My markings are different! And nobody thaught me how to live with that.'' Oh no. Don't get emotional. But Aelordar kinda enjoyed her presence, because she was sending a calm aura, which was covering his body like a blanket. ''Not a fool. I think that everybody should know what he can do and how far he can go...but..'', his eyes looked around like he was afraid of something coming. ''...there are a lot of dangerous things out here. Not everybody can manage them.'' Perhaps she could...so better stop talking now. ''But I love it how you see the world..even if you can't see it with your eyes. It seems like you are creating your own world...your own way to see.'' Yes she perfectly did. How else could she travelled so far and could shock Aelordar with her words? ''Nachtschade.'', he repeaded her words, while he gently listened to her. This name was bound on a terrible story and Aelordar could feel the pain, which was dragged trough his body. ''I'm sorry for you...but i think that you don't want to hear that. Nobody is feeling sorry for me and I'm glad.'' He tried to give her a trustful smile, but the face of his mother was appearing in his mind. ''My name is Aelordar...i have a herd, but i prefer it to be by myself. My mother died a couple years ago. She got killed...so perhaps there is something we got in common.'' | |

| He blanc eyes stare at him while intensely listening to what he says. A slight wave of pure and raw emotions take over her eyes, makes her blink and turn away her head. She didn't know he had that much troubles with his marking, with his appearance. If she had knew she wouldn't have joked about it, but she hadn't and she felt bad. 'I am sorry, it wasn't my intention to hurt anyone' A small insecure smile grace her lips when she raises her head at him. 'It's a wonderful thing to be different, one of a kind. And within this area there are so much differences between horses that I am sure you'll feel safe very soon. I've heard about a mare with tiger stripes, and even some with colorful manes like a rainbow' She smiles tender when thinking about a rainbow, the beautiful curve with all his intense colors, she had seen one on her second birthday and she still sees it in her mind.
She thinks about all the dangerous things and chuckles softly. 'You have no idea Aelordar, really' she flicks her head and her long black mane follows in a swirl wrapping around her slender neck. She steps closer, her nose caresses his skin when she touches him, searching where his ear is. She then moves her weight to her front legs and has to raise her front to reach his ear. 'I've ran into the shade leader, Avanti. He actually made me a deal and I am safe for the moment. So really no worries about me' She grins, her breath leaving a trail in the cold air, caressing his skin for a moment. She smiles at him, charming and sweet.
When he tells about his mother her eyes get that dark and tragic look once again, she sight softly. 'I am so sorry Aelordar, I know what it feel to grow up without parents' |

| put nice lyrics over here rank one "You didn't hurt me..." The tall stallion just shook his head and blew a soft wind out of his nostrils. And why? Yes...she couldn't know what has happened to him in the past. She didn't know everything and so did he. So he was careful about all his steps he was going to do. He was so kind-hearted when he was able to talk with other horses and with other mares. Yes! The stallion was scared that he could appear like a total outsider, but...of course he was...but he wasn't that man who could accept this. His dad just made him a loner...his dad made a lot things out of him, because he never wanted Aelordar to be caring friend, but after the dead of his mother...the stallion totally changed, but he was too scared that some horses could remember him. Even if this wouldn't make any sense. He did so many wrong things, because of his father. "Tigerstripes...? Sure I've heard about all these different horses, but...it's not the only reason why I prefer to play hide and seek." He laughed. He really wanted to change the topic, but Nachtschade already took this part over...and he felt the cold wind climbing up his back... "The shade leader?" It wasn't hard to see that his eyes were wide opened. Did she just mentioned the shades? Pardon. The shade leader...no! Aelordar really had no idea and he felt how this name of the leader tasted like the dead leaves from before... "You don't need to feel sorry for me....but...the shade leader? May I ask which wind took you there?" Shades...Shades...Shades...this name was just like a ghost of his past....shades....a quiet voice in his head was whispering this name over and over again...SHADES!!! And the only thing he could hear was his heart screaming... | |

| She sighed, a swirl of mist leaving through her nostrils. She probably shouldn't have told him, she could almost see the panic in his eyes, she heard how his breathing got faster and the blood rushed through his veins. He was scared for the shady figures in the forest, and she couldn't blame him, although she would've thought he'd hide it, because this was not very manly. She flicks her head, her long mane swirls around her neck and hides her glassy white eyes. 'My pardon for frightening you, but you shouldn't when the blue moon isn't in the night sky. They may be all scary and stuff but in daylight they don't even make a run for it, they are weaker and more vunerable. Still not a good idea to walk into them of course, but sometimes Life has a knack for sending you down all the wrong paths.' She chuckles and tosses her manes backwards again, the long black mane irritated her. 'Anyway, in for a walk?' She grins and walks towards him, her slender body in a gracious pace. |

| put nice lyrics over here rank one The weak light of the sun danced on his skin as he moved his body quite slowly. His nostrills were tasting the air while his eyes were trying to focus the beautiful face of the blind mare. He should better be quiet and should not tell her so much about him. He was the ghost of the forest and nobody should know his stories. Really...why should they? They only could hurt him more and more. ''Don't worry about it...I think that I can believe you when you are talking about the shades. Everybody makes his own experiences...so don't worry about it.'' He whispered with a soft voice and tried to bestow her a smile on his lips. He gingerly made a step on the ground and walked a few steps to the front of the dark mare. ''Sure I will. Just follow me if you want to...so perhaps we could talk about different things than the shades. I don't want to be heard...'' No. Not really. Of course she was right that you don't need to be afraid of them when the sun was rising...but what would happen if they would find him when the blue moon was ruling over the heaven. But why was Aelordar so uptight when somebody was talking about the shades? This was his little secret, but jut listen to his careful steps...and you could know that he wasn't that stallion who was afraid of everything. He just needed his time to regenerate from his hurtful past. ''So...why Andernfels? Are you searching for somebody...? Or were you missing the smell of live...the smell of all these flowers?'' For one moment he stand still and pressed his wide nostrills onto the ground which was fullfilled with the beauty of the nature. Could flowers be a reason to take a long journey on your back? Were flowers the reason why he was here....? | |
